The Amount of Benefit for the Third and Each Subsequent Child Has Been Established
The government has established the amount of benefit for the third and each subsequent child during its session today, and has approved the procedure for allocating and paying the benefits for the third and each subsequent child.
Specifically, it is proposed to set the benefit amount at 50,000 drams per month and to approve the procedure for allocating and paying the benefits. A programmatic tool for ensuring processes implemented in an automated manner will be developed and introduced by May 1, 2026.
An online mechanism for the allocation and payment of benefits will also be implemented, primarily based on the interaction of state information databases. The procedure for allocating and paying benefits will also define detailed criteria for determining the number of beneficiary children, taking into account the family structure, children born to the parents of the beneficiary child (from the mother and father), as well as those connected to the beneficiary child’s parents (related siblings and half-siblings) under certain conditions.
Moreover, the decision stipulates that children who are in institutions providing round-the-clock full care or are without parental care will not be counted when determining the number of beneficiary children. This data is obtained from the information databases of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The implementation of automated processes will contribute to the simplification of administration, reduction of citizens' administrative burden, limitation of the influence of human factors, and enhancement of the transparency of processes.
