Criminal Investigation into the Murder of Valodya Grigoryan Concludes for Two Individuals
The criminal investigation initiated regarding the murder of the former head of the Parakar community and an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on September 24, 2025, has concluded for two individuals. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
As previously reported, during the criminal proceedings initiated following the murder in Vardzadzor, public criminal charges have been filed against two individuals: against G.H. under part 1 of Article 155 of the Criminal Code (murder) (2 episodes), part 1 of Article 44-155 (attempted murder), and part 1 of Article 335 (illegal circulation of firearms, their main components, military ammunition, and other substances, devices, or items). Additionally, N.O. is charged under part 1 of Article 46-155 (aiding murder) (2 episodes) and part 1 of Article 46-44-155 (aiding attempted murder).
Both individuals have been remanded in custody. The criminal proceedings against G.H. and N.O. have been sent to the supervising prosecutor with a bill of indictment. The investigation is ongoing.
