I Am Facing Another Difficult Path: Newly Appointed Vicar of Masis Diocese
I am facing another difficult path. This was stated today by the newly appointed vicar of the Masis Diocese, Father Ruben Zargaryan, during a service at the Holy Jacob Church in Ararat.
“I have served 15 years in penitentiary institutions, and when I was presented with this choice by the clergy of the diocese and the Catholicos, amidst this storm where our church is fragmented from within, I could not say no. I decided to come to the Masis Diocese, putting my hope in God and the believers, to serve and engage in spiritual activities without intrigues. I have come to serve, and I expect your sincere prayers,” he said.
It is noteworthy that the diocese's leader, Bishop Gevorg Saroyan, was dismissed yesterday.
