Military Exercises in Iran Against International Terrorism
The spokesperson of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baghaei, has announced that the aim of the "Sahand 2025" military exercises taking place in northwestern Iran is to combat terrorism. Five countries are involved in the exercises, with a total of 13-14 countries participating, according to the Iranian IRNA news agency.
Baghaei noted that the exercises demonstrate Iran's readiness to respond to terrorism in a systematic and multilateral manner—a threat that no country can overcome alone due to its international nature. He expressed hope that such cooperation would extend to other areas, including the fight against international organized crime.
