Azerbaijan, Iran, and Russia Sign Memorandum of Understanding
According to Azerbaijani media sources, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between Azerbaijan, Iran, and Russia, emphasizing the importance of developing long-term trilateral cooperation and enhancing the efficiency of the western segment of the North-South corridor.
The document outlines the harmonization of tariff approaches, the establishment of a unified comprehensive tariff, the launch of regular block train services, and the improvement of transport procedures. The implementation of these mechanisms, according to the publication, will create a more predictable, faster, and cost-effective logistics chain between Russia, Azerbaijan, and Iran.
