It was noted that Steve Witkoff and Marco Rubio met with representatives from Ukraine last week to discuss the new plan, while Volodymyr Zelensky met with U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll.
The White House has indicated that understanding the agreements solely as unilateral territorial concessions is a mistake. Additionally, the Trump administration has declined to respond to questions regarding whether Qatar is participating in the negotiations.
