Vardan Ghukasian Faces New Charges
Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasian has been charged with a third offense due to statements made recently in the Corruption Prevention Court, according to Armlur.am. The first charge was brought by the Anti-Corruption Committee related to a bribery case, while the second charge was issued by the Investigative Committee of Armenia on September 16, stemming from remarks he made about the authorities during a conversation with journalists.
The latest charge is connected to declarations made in the Anti-Corruption Court. Just moments ago, investigators from the Investigative Committee of Armenia entered the SNCO building and filed the third charge as well.
