It’s Serious, There’s an Offer: Spertsyan on Transfer Rumors
The midfielder of the Armenian national team and FC Krasnodar, Edward Spertsyan, has confirmed that English club Southampton has made an offer for his transfer. However, the final decision will be made after negotiations between the player and the president of the Russian club, Sergey Galitsky.
"It’s still early to talk about a transfer to Southampton. But it’s serious, there is an offer. I am not in Krasnodar yet. I will return soon and discuss with club president Sergey Galitsky. We will see what decision we will make together," Spertsyan said during an interview with Match TV’s program 'Everything for the Match!'
According to the results of the previous Premier League season, Southampton was relegated and will play in the Championship this season. Spertsyan's transfer value is estimated at €25 million. Reports indicate that Southampton is ready to pay €12.5 million, considering that the player's contract with FC Krasnodar expires in the summer of 2026.
