Iran Issues Statement on Ceasefire

The ceasefire with Israel has come into effect from the Iranian side. This was reported by the Iranian Press TV channel.

"The ceasefire began following four Iranian attacks on Israeli territories," the statement said.

On the night of June 24, US President Donald Trump announced that Iran and Israel had agreed on a ceasefire. According to him, the world will witness the "official end of the 12-day war" within the next 24 hours.

Previously, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that currently there is no agreement regarding either a ceasefire or military operations with Israel.
