Abbas Araqchi Has a Statement
The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi made a post on X, responding to U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement regarding a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
“As Iran has repeatedly clarified, it is Israel that has started the war against Iran, not the other way around. At this moment, there is no ‘agreement’ regarding a ceasefire or cessation of military operations. However, if the Israeli regime halts its illegal aggression against the Iranian people by 4 PM Tehran time, then we do not intend to continue our response thereafter. A final decision regarding the cessation of our military operations will be made later,” wrote the Iranian Foreign Minister.
Earlier, the U.S. President announced that both countries had reached out to him for peace establishment, and soon there will be a 12-hour ceasefire, after which the war will be considered over.
