Armenia and Azerbaijan Mutual Support for Each Other's Candidacies, Says Pashinyan
Armenia and Azerbaijan have mutually supported each other's candidacies to host the European Political Community summit. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his microblog on X.
"I also welcome the decision to hold the European Political Community summit in Azerbaijan in 2028. It is important to emphasize that Armenia and Azerbaijan have mutually supported each other's candidacies to host the summit," noted Pashinyan.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the 8th summit of the European Political Community will take place in Armenia in the spring of 2026. The 6th summit of the European Political Community was held in the Albanian capital, Tirana, with the participation of Prime Minister Pashinyan, while the 7th summit will be held in Denmark.
