Armenia's Foreign Ministry Responds to Aliyev's Statement
The spokesperson for Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ani Badalyan, has addressed the latest remarks made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, regarding the so-called 'Western Azerbaijan' narrative.
The MFA spokesperson commented on the issue in response to a question from 'Armenpress'. 'There is no 'Western Azerbaijan' on the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Western Azerbaijan refers to the western regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan,' she stated.
It is important to recall that the Armenian side has previously responded multiple times to such claims by Azerbaijan, emphasizing that such statements are considered territorial demands against the Republic of Armenia.
