Tough Match Ahead. Willy Sagnol on the Upcoming Clash Against Armenia
Tomorrow will be a tough match for us. This was stated by the head coach of the Georgia national team, Willy Sagnol, during a press conference held on the eve of the Nations League playoff match between Armenia and Georgia.
"The clash against Armenia is, so to speak, a derby. I am confident that all my players will be ready for tomorrow's match and will be able to achieve a positive result," said Sagnol.
The head coach of Georgia also spoke about the appointment of Armenia's new head coach, John van 't Schip. "I remember him from his time working with the Greek national team. I also know that he has served at a major club like Ajax in Amsterdam. I believe that his appointment is good news for Armenian football. The Armenian team has always been impressive over the last 15-20 years. The recent period may not have been successful, but I think the new coach can rectify the situation," he noted.
