Georgia vs Armenia: 5-0

In the UEFA Nations League transitional playoff, the Armenian national team faced off against Georgia at the Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi. This was reported by ARMSPORT.

In the fourth minute of the match, Austrian Sturm midfielder Otar Kiteishvili, 28, opened the scoring. After his powerful shot, the ball deflected off the defender of Pyunik, Varazdat Haroyan, resulting in an own goal. Later, UEFA's official site recorded an own goal next to Haroyan's name.

In the 14th minute, French Lyon forward Giorgi Mikautadze, 24, doubled the host's lead. In the 23rd minute, English Watford midfielder Giorgi Chakvetadze, 25, also got on the scoresheet. In the 27th minute, Otar Kiteishvili found the net again. In the 35th minute, Giorgi Mikautadze completed his brace.

The fourth and fifth goals came as a result of mistakes in passing from Armenian players, allowing the ball to find its way to the opponent. The Armenian footballers did not manage to make a single shot on target throughout the match.
