Armenian Foreign Ministry Comments on Georgian President's Scandalous Publication
The Armenian Foreign Ministry has commented on the scandalous repost made by the President of Georgia on her personal page, in response to an inquiry from Sputnik Armenia. Recently, Zurabishvili reposted a message from one of the Georgian tourism operators on social media, which presented the Armenian regions of Lori and Tashir, located in northern Armenia, as part of "historical Georgia."
“The relevant post from the tourism agency has been removed,” stated the ministry.
Earlier, the Ambassador of Georgia to Armenia, Georgi Sharvashidze, criticized the repost. He emphasized that any attempt to cast a shadow on the exemplary cooperation between the two countries and the centuries-old friendship of the Armenian and Georgian peoples is unacceptable.
