Fake Drug Alert Issued: Caution Advised Against Using Specific Medication
The Health and Labour Inspection Body of Armenia has announced that, according to a letter received on July 9, 2024, from the State Healthcare and Medical Technology Expertise Center, there is information from the World Health Organization indicating that three batches of the drug OZEMPIC (semaglutide) are counterfeit (LP6FB32, NARO074, MP5ES11).
“It should be noted that OZEMPIC is not registered in the Republic of Armenia, and there is no information regarding the legal importation of the mentioned batches. Dear citizens, please be vigilant and refrain from using this medication,” the statement reads.
