Zelensky Reveals Number of Captives Returned from Russia Since War Began
A total of 3,310 captives have been returned from Russia to Ukraine as part of prisoner exchange agreements. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his Telegram channel.
Since the beginning of the war, the parties have conducted over 50 exchanges. The Ukrainian leader emphasized that efforts in this direction continue. He stated that Ukrainian authorities are searching for all possible means to bring every captive back home.
"We continue to look for ways to free everyone from Russian captivity — all our soldiers and civilians, both adults and children," Zelensky highlighted.
