Armenia Receives Invitation to NATO Summit in Washington, Says Foreign Ministry Spokesperson
Armenia has accepted the invitation to participate in the NATO summit in Washington.
The country has received an invitation to attend the NATO summit, which includes a partnership format event and activities dedicated to the organization's 75th anniversary. This was stated in an interview with Pastinfo by Ani Badalyan, spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
“Armenia has confirmed its participation. There are no other arrangements at this time,” she noted.
It is worth mentioning that U.S. Secretary of State Assistant for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien announced in Baku today that Azerbaijan has also been invited to the summit. Furthermore, he expressed the United States' willingness to organize a meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington.
