The March Led by Bishop Bagrat Has Begun: Route of the Movement in Yerevan Revealed
Starting from May 4, the march led by Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan of the Tavush Diocese from the village of Kiran has reached the city of Abovyan last night, and today at 11:00 AM it is moving towards Yerevan. At 4:00 PM today, participants of the march and citizens who have joined them will gather at Republic Square.
Five human rights defenders have committed to protect the rights of participants in the peaceful gatherings initiated by the 'For the Homeland' movement. The initiative has been joined by 20 lawyers. A hotline has also been activated at 095 08 87 87, which will operate around the clock.
Today's route includes: Tbilisyan Street, Komitas Avenue, Baghramyan Avenue, Mashtots Avenue, Amiryan Street, with the final destination at Republic Square.
