Earthquake in Eastern Turkey
An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale has struck the Elazığ region in eastern Turkey. According to information posted on the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) website, the tremors were recorded at 03:25 local time in the center of Elazığ. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 13.83 kilometers.
The authority has stated that there have been no negative repercussions from the earthquake at this time.
