Agreements Signed for Film Production for Netflix in Armenia

We had agreements to produce films for Netflix. This was stated by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, during a meeting of the Standing Parliamentary Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sports on March 22, while discussing the progress and effectiveness report of the government program for 2021-2026.

According to her, the participation of Armenian films in various international film festivals has increased by 74 percent.

“Our 10 films, which participated in 110 film festivals, have received 28 awards,” the minister noted. Andreasyan emphasized that this sector has enormous potential for further development.
