If the 'Zangezur Corridor' does not open, we do not intend to open the border with Armenia elsewhere: Aliyev
If the Zangezur Corridor does not open, we do not intend to open the border with Armenia elsewhere.
According to Azerbaijani media reports, this was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during an interview with local television channels.
“People and goods should cross from Azerbaijan to Azerbaijan without checks; otherwise, Armenia will remain in a deadlock forever. If the route I mentioned (the Zangezur Corridor - ed.) does not open, then we do not intend to open the border with Armenia elsewhere. That is, in this way, they will suffer more damage than benefit,” Aliyev said.
