Aliyev on the Future of Artsakh Leaders
“Of course, we do not consider the possibility of applying any sanctions against innocent soldiers. However, our stance regarding the leaders of the separatists is unequivocal – they must be held in custody,” said Azerbaijani President Aliyev in an interview with local television channels.
“Some of them were arrested while attempting to flee through the Lachin corridor, some in Khankendi (the term used by the occupying side for the capital of Artsakh, Stepanakert), and others in different locations. We knew their whereabouts,” added the leader of the opposing country.
