Mandarin Importers from Georgia Report Issues at Armenian Checkpoint
Garni Danielyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, has reported on his Facebook page that traders importing mandarins from Georgia are facing difficulties at the Armenian checkpoint. They claim that they are not allowed to pass through with their boxes from Armenia.
They are being told to go back and acquire the appropriate boxes from Georgia. The entrepreneurs report that this adds extra inconvenience for them, and each time they need to purchase boxes from Georgia, it affects the cost price of the mandarins.
The implementation of such a restriction is unclear. I urge the relevant authorities to clarify the reasoning behind this decision in a timely manner,” stated the MP.
