Poland's New Prime Minister Says Zelensky Has Already Requested a Meeting with Him
Kiev has requested a meeting between Poland's new Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Tusk himself announced.
"The Ukrainian side has requested a meeting for tomorrow morning. Technical details are still to be clarified. Of course, I would be delighted to meet with the president (of Ukraine - editor's note). Perhaps 'delighted' is not the best word, given the subject and context," he said.
Tusk clarified that the format of Zelensky's presence in Brussels is still unclear. According to him, a European Council meeting is planned, and a decision regarding the participation of the Ukrainian president has not yet been made. Based on this, the Polish Prime Minister indicated that he is not ready to specify when and where his meeting with Zelensky will take place.
