PHOTOS: Nikol Pashinyan Visits New Secondary School in Jravarat, Kotayk Province
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has visited the newly constructed secondary school in the village of Jravarat, Kotayk Province. He was accompanied by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Armen Ghulyan, and Kotayk Province Governor Aharon Sahakyan.
The Prime Minister toured the school and familiarized himself with the conditions created for the students. The construction works for the school were supposed to be completed in August. Pashinyan inquired about the reasons for the delay in the construction and instructed the responsible parties to strictly adhere to the timelines set out in all programs and complete the work within the stipulated period.
The construction of the school began in November 2020, and the building is set to be put into operation in the coming days. The total cost of the project is nearly 752 million drams. As part of the project, a solar photovoltaic installation has also been carried out, along with fencing, landscaping, and the construction and furnishing of a playground.
