Hamas and Hezbollah Fire Over 30 Rockets at Israel from Lebanon in One Hour
The Hamas group announced on Monday that it had launched 16 rockets from Lebanon towards Haifa, Nahariya, and other Israeli cities, according to The Times of Israel.
Simultaneously, the Lebanese Hezbollah movement also reported on the rocket launches. Overall, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), more than 30 rockets were fired towards Israel within one hour.
The IDF has activated the Iron Dome missile defense system and opened artillery fire towards the rocket launch sites.
According to reports, several long-range rockets fell into the sea, and residents heard explosions. There are no reports of casualties or destruction.
On October 7, the Hamas militant group, based in the Gaza Strip, launched an attack on Israel, resulting in more than 1,400 deaths. In response, the IDF initiated military operations against Hamas.
