Surén Papikyan Wants to Resign: Reports
According to the newspaper "Hraparak," sources from the Ministry of Defense have revealed that Surén Papikyan has expressed intentions to submit his resignation multiple times recently, or at least has had such thoughts, which a small circle within the ministry is aware of. However, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has convinced him to reconsider this decision.
Surén Papikyan, who is one of the officials with the most frequent contacts with Russia due to his position, has come under pressure from Russian figures because of Pashinyan's anti-Russian policies. We also reported yesterday that there are still rational individuals within the Civil Contract party who are dissatisfied with Pashinyan's political course, especially his anti-Russian actions, believing that these actions could lead to dangerous consequences. According to some reports, this viewpoint is also supported by Papikyan.
