Erdogan Speaks About Groups Seeking to ‘Poison’ Turkey-U.S. Relations
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that there are groups attempting to ‘poison’ the relations between Ankara and Washington, as reported by Ria.ru.
“By maintaining your uniqueness here, you (Turks living in the U.S.) are creating bridges between people, introducing Americans to our culture. The path to victory is through unity and solidarity. There are interested groups that want to poison the relations. We will put up a barrier in front of them,” stated the Turkish President.
Erdogan also noted that the relations between Ankara and Washington are improving day by day. According to him, he has agreed with U.S. President Joe Biden to further ‘strengthen friendship and cooperation.’
