Let’s See What Developments Will Occur: David Babayan
The Russian peacekeeping mission is making efforts in the negotiations regarding the reopening of the Lachin corridor. This was stated by David Babayan, an advisor to the President of Artsakh, in an interview with NEWS.am.
“The Russian peacekeeping mission is making efforts here. Let’s see what developments will occur. There is currently no news. Since this corridor has international status, it would be ideal if it could be restored without any preconditions, because this is the implementation of the provisions of an international agreement, and it must be opened unconditionally. Negotiations are ongoing, and for now, there is no news. Let’s not rush the processes; let’s do everything possible to ensure that the work is resumed. We cannot go into details,” said David Babayan.
Earlier, Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the “Honorary” faction in the National Assembly, informed reporters that negotiations are taking place between Artsakh and Russia, and between Russia and Azerbaijan.
