Russian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministries Discuss Relations Between Yerevan and Baku
Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mamedov has discussed the process of normalizing relations between Baku and Yerevan with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Galuzin during a visit to Russia, according to a report from Azerbaijan's foreign ministry press service.
“Mamedov informed Galuzin about the situation in the region in the post-conflict period, the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and efforts being made to promote a peace agenda,” the statement said.
“During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to political dialogue between the two countries in various areas, including economy, trade, culture, and humanitarian sciences. It was noted that the level of cooperation in these areas is promising. In this regard, the necessity for utilizing the existing potential for further expansion of ties was emphasized. The meeting also included exchanges of views on other issues of mutual interest,” the statement added.
