Bayramov Complains and Blames Pashinyan for Making a Statement to the Press Just 40 Minutes Later
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, during a press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, and Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Belgium, Hajaa Lahbib, accused Armenia of leaving Azerbaijan's proposals regarding the "peace agreement" unanswered for 1-2 months.
"I want to point out an interesting trend—generally, the Armenian side leaves Azerbaijan's comments unanswered for 30-60 days. It doesn't matter whether this is a lot or a little, but the Azerbaijani side accepts it as an integral part of the process. However, just days after sending their comments, the Armenian side announces to the press that 'we sent our comments to Azerbaijan,'" Bayramov expressed dissatisfaction.
According to him, today, "the Armenian side and the Prime Minister of Armenia have set a new record." He stated, "Just 40 minutes after sending their comments to us, they made a statement to the press. This clearly shows which side is interested in resolving the process and which side is inclined to make political statements."
