Air Temperature to Rise: Weather Forecast
Weather without precipitation is expected in the territory of the Republic of Armenia from August 9 to 13. The wind will blow from the southwest at 2-4 m/s, with gusts expected in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk and in Ararat at speeds of 13-16 m/s in the evening hours. This information has been provided by the Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The air temperature is gradually expected to rise by 3-5 degrees from August 9 to 11.
In Yerevan, weather without precipitation is anticipated from August 9 to 12. On August 9 and on the evenings of the 12th and 13th, wind gusts of 12-14 m/s are expected.
The temperature in the capital will be 37-39 degrees during the day today and 30-32 degrees in the evening.
Note: From August 10 to 14, temperatures are forecasted to reach +40 to +42 degrees in the Ararat Plain, in the valleys of Syunik, and in Yerevan during the hours between 16:00-18:00. During the same days, a high-level fire hazard situation is expected in Yerevan, the Ararat Plain, the foothills of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and in the valleys of Syunik and Tavush. It is advised to avoid direct sunlight from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
