There Were No Weapons, Ammunition, or Military Hardware in the Police Vehicle – Artsakh State Minister
The State Minister of Artsakh, Gurgin Nersisyan, has issued a statement regarding the Azerbaijani incursion.
Today, around 10:00 AM, an Azerbaijani sabotage group infiltrated the territory of the Republic of Artsakh and launched an armed attack on the vehicle of the police passport and visa department’s duty personnel, resulting in the deaths of three police officers, while one was gravely injured and transferred to a hospital where he remains under medical supervision.
“Azerbaijan has rushed to disseminate false information claiming that they have neutralized a vehicle carrying weapons from the Republic of Armenia to Artsakh. This is a blatant lie and yet another attempt to confuse and deceive the international community, distorting the reality. The police officers were traveling in a civilian vehicle from Artsakh towards our police station, and there were no weapons, ammunition, or military hardware in the vehicle whatsoever.
The competent authorities of the Republic of Artsakh possess undeniable evidence, recordings, and photographs regarding the circumstances of the incident, which will be presented to the international audience through our Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the shortest possible time.
In recent days, the Azerbaijani armed forces have displayed increased activity along various sections of the contact line, targeting cameras set up to ensure the security of our settlements, damaging or destroying them,” said the state minister of Artsakh.
