Iran Offers Azerbaijan Proposal Related to Embassy Terror Attack
Iran has proposed sending expert teams to Tehran and Baku to expedite the investigation into the January 27 terrorist attack on Azerbaijan's embassy in Tehran, during which the head of the diplomatic mission's security service was killed and two other staff members were injured. This information has been reported by Azerbaijani media.
The corresponding proposal was made in Baku by Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Mahdi Safari during a meeting with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. It was noted that during the meeting, Safari provided a report on the latest developments in the case and requested the Azerbaijani authorities to send relevant expert teams from both countries to Tehran and Baku to accelerate the completion of the process.
