Ministry of Defense Clarifies Incident Related to Tragic Event in Chambarak
The tragic incident in Chambarak was not preceded by a brawl among soldiers, and they did not flee wearing gas masks. This statement comes from the Armenian Ministry of Defense and the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
Previously, we reported that on August 19, around 21:00, seven servicemen were hit by a vehicle on the road from Chambarak to Vahan village in the Gegharkunik province.
It is worth noting that as a result of the incident, serviceman Suren Mambrayev Vardanian lost his life, while the other injured servicemen were transported to a military hospital. Their lives are not in danger, although the condition of two has been assessed as serious, with broken bones reported.
