Armenian Foreign Ministry on Mirzoyan-Lavrov Meeting
Within the framework of the "Raisina Dialogue" conference, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in New Delhi on March 3. This was reported by the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia discussed the situation arising from Azerbaijan's blockade of the Lachin corridor and disruption of electricity supply in Nagorno-Karabakh. The necessity of implementing the agreements reached and unblocking the Lachin corridor was emphasized, while following the commitments undertaken in the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020.
The interlocutors also addressed issues regarding the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, border delimitation and security, the unblocking of all economic and transportation links in the region, and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
