Trump Announces Willingness to Run for Third Term

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he would be pleased to run for a third term if the country's laws were changed. According to the American leader, there are currently rules and norms that prohibit him from running for office. "If they want to change that, I would be happy," Trump said during a speech in front of his supporters in Myrtle Beach.

The current presidential term for U.S. presidents will end on January 20, 2029. Trump won the presidential election for the second time in November 2024, defeating Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. He first led the U.S. administration from 2017 to 2021, after losing to Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential candidate, in the 2016 elections.
