Russia Disrupted the West's Plans to Fragment the Country: Lavrov
Russia has succeeded in thwarting the West's plans to isolate Moscow by ensuring cooperation with the majority of the world, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced on Monday.
“The world has entered an era of cardinal irreversible changes. We have managed not only to foil the collective West's plans to isolate and even fragment Russia, but also to ensure ongoing cooperation with the overwhelming majority of members of the international community,” the minister said during a meeting with representatives of Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and leaders of territorial bodies in the subjects of the Federation.
Lavrov added that Russia is developing closer and more effective ties with the global majority.
