Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Advises Citizens to Refrain from Traveling to Iran
Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran. This announcement was made by the country's foreign affairs department.
"Considering the unstable situation in Iran and the recent terrorist attack against our diplomatic representation, Azerbaijani citizens are advised to avoid unnecessary trips to Iran, and those who do travel are urged to exercise extreme caution. Currently, Azerbaijani citizens in Iran are advised to adhere to safety protocols," the statement reads.
It is noteworthy that just days ago, on January 27, an attack occurred on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The assailant opened fire on a guard post, resulting in the death of the head of the security service and injuries to two embassy staff members.
