Azerbaijan Was Left Alone Yesterday: Mamikjanyan on the Heated Discussion in the PACE

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) held a discussion yesterday on the humanitarian consequences of the blockade of the Lachin corridor.

ArmLur.am spoke with Haik Mamikjanyan, the head of the "I Have Honor" faction and a member of the PACE delegation, for details. According to Mamikjanyan, nearly all countries noted during the discussion that Azerbaijan is responsible for the crisis created in Lachin. He emphasized that Azerbaijan was left alone yesterday.

It should be recalled that on January 26, the PACE adopted a resolution titled "Progress in the Monitoring Processes of the Assembly." The information was published on the Facebook page "Armenia in the Council of Europe."

"The amendments proposed by the Armenian delegation regarding the immediate release of Armenian prisoners of war by Azerbaijan and the implementation of interim measures of the European Court of Human Rights concerning the Lachin corridor were adopted by vote in the resolution," the message stated.
