Armenia Has Not Renounced the Deployment of CSTO Mission at the Border with Azerbaijan, Says Armenian Ambassador in Russia
“Armenia has not renounced the deployment of a CSTO mission at the border with Azerbaijan,” stated Vagharshak Harutyunyan, Armenia's ambassador to Russia and former Minister of Defense, in an interview with a TASS correspondent.
“As for the CSTO observers, none of them have renounced their participation. The document that was supposed to be signed in Yerevan following the CSTO Secretary General and Joint Staff Chief's visit to the region was not signed because the Armenian side wanted to revise the document. This document is currently in the process of being revised,” Harutyunyan noted.
