Aliyev Clearly States No Intentions for Border Changes, Says Abdollahian
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has clearly stated during a meeting with Iranian leadership that he has no ambitions for geographical or border changes in the region. This was announced by Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian during a press briefing held in Yerevan.
“We have sent a relevant warning at the highest level regarding regional and geopolitical issues, as well as border changes. Iran has the capability to prevent them and stand against any implementation of such ideas,” he added.
It is noteworthy that a meeting was held today between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, and Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian with an expanded format.
