Council of Europe Calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan
The Council of Europe and the European Union have urged Armenia and Azerbaijan to urgently join Protocol No. 13 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which prohibits the use of the death penalty in all circumstances.
It is worth noting that from September 13 to 14, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched a large-scale attack on Armenian territory, resulting in casualties and injuries on the Armenian side. After the ceasefire, the Azerbaijani side published videos showing the brutal killing of Armenian prisoners of war by Azerbaijani military units.
