Armenia Must Appeal to ICC, Arman Tatoyan Speaks to American Fox News
The Azerbaijani units "Yashma" and "Commando" have exhibited unprecedented brutality during the attacks on Armenia from September 13-15, including executions of prisoners, dismemberment of slain soldiers' bodies, and inhumane treatment of the bodies of female soldiers among others. This was stated by Arman Tatoyan, the director of the Center for Law and Justice "Tatoyan" Foundation, in an interview with American Fox News. He reiterated that Armenia must appeal to the International Criminal Court (ICC) for war crimes against the President of Azerbaijan, the leaders of the special services and the military, prioritizing their international criminal accountability and punishment.
According to him, international criminal prosecution would have a preventative significance against ongoing genocidal policies.
