Protests and Clashes: Tensions Persisted Across Many Iranian Cities Overnight

Protests continued across many cities in Iran late Sunday evening, marked by disturbances and clashes. Recent unrest has erupted in various cities following the funeral of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.

According to the official version, the young woman was arrested by the morality police for improperly wearing her headscarf. During interrogation, she reportedly suffered a heart attack and died. However, information has circulated on social media suggesting that officers had beaten Amini.

In response, arrests are being made in various cities of participants and organizers of the unrest, with the seizure of cold weapons and firearms from them.
