Tragic Accident in India: Most Victims Are Women and Children

At least 27 people have died and more than 20 others have been injured when a tractor transporting people along with a trailer plunged into a pond, as reported by the Times of India. The incident occurred overnight in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

The tractor driver, who was transporting around 50 people, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to fall into the water. According to local authorities, most of the victims are women and children. They were all returning home from a local temple.
