Azerbaijani Armed Forces Must Withdraw from the Sovereign Territory of Armenia: Mirzoyan at Triangular Meeting with Blinken and Bayramov
On September 19, during the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, a meeting mediated by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken took place between Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
During the meeting, Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized that the Azerbaijani armed forces must withdraw from the sovereign territory of Armenia, and the use of force or the threat of force is unacceptable. He also stated that international mechanisms should be established to prevent further escalations.
The Armenian Foreign Minister highlighted the urgency of resolving humanitarian issues, including the prompt repatriation of prisoners of war.
Minister Mirzoyan reaffirmed Armenia's readiness to engage in a comprehensive resolution process of relations.
