VIDEO: Armenian Wrestler Wins Medal in 40 Seconds at World Championship

Armenian freestyle wrestler Armen Harutyunyan (45 kg) has won the bronze medal at the World Championship for athletes under 17 years old. The information was reported by the Armenian Wrestling Federation.

In the decisive match, the Armenian wrestler defeated Iran's Saleh Navari. Notably, Harutyunyan secured victory in just 40 seconds in the bronze match.

In the qualification round, he triumphed over the Kyrgyz wrestler (13:7), but later lost to American Dominic Michael Munaretto, who went on to become the champion. In the consolation match, Harutyunyan defeated an Indian athlete (8:7).

Another representative of Armenia, Razmik Yepremyan, also became a bronze medalist at the World Championship held in Rome. He achieved victory over Kazakhstan's Alisher Zholdasbay in the decisive match (9:2).
