Starting September 1, students in Dilijan will benefit from free transportation
On August 3, during an extraordinary meeting of the Dilijan community council, a decision was made to implement a zero tariff on local passenger transport for all students attending educational institutions within the community, as announced by the Dilijan municipality.
The decision, approved by a 12-0 vote from the council, will take effect on September 1, 2026. As a result of this decision, students and pupils traveling from urban and rural areas of Dilijan to their educational institutions will be able to use local transport services for free, regardless of their place of residence.
The initiative aims to provide support to the community's children and youth, making their movement more accessible and affordable, while also contributing to the effective implementation of the educational process.
